Will the 2023 Honda Civic Type-R EV just be available with solid-state batteries?
It is currently unclear whether an electric Civic Type R would be exclusively achievable with a solid-state battery.
Solid-state batteries are a relatively new battery technology that may offer various advantages over conventional lithium-ion batteries,
including a better energy density, faster charging times, and enhanced safety.
Unfortunately, they are still in their infancy and not readily available for commercial application.
It is feasible that Honda will use solid-state batteries in a future electric Civic Type R or
other electric vehicles, but this will rely on the development
and availability of the technology at the time of production.
